Whether you’re looking for a bustling festival or a quieter, luxurious spot to take in the views, here’s your guide to the best places to watch fireworks around the Sound—including my twilight open house in Gig Harbor, where you’ll have a front row seat to the magic.
Lacey Fireworks Spectacular
When: Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10pm
Where: Rainier Vista Community Park, 5475 45th Avenue SE, Lacey, WA 98503
Start your celebrations a day early at Lacey’s Fireworks Spectacular! Enjoy food vendors, live music, a kids’ zone, and free 3D glasses for enhanced viewing (while supplies last). The party begins at 4pm, with fireworks lighting up the sky at 10pm. For more info, visit the City of Lacey website.
Tacoma’s 4th of July Summer Blast

While personal fireworks aren’t allowed within Gig Harbor city limits, you can still soak in the vibrant display from one of the most exclusive seats in town. Sip a cool drink on the deck, mingle with neighbors, and make unforgettable memories as the sky lights up before your eyes. All are welcome—whether you’re house-hunting or just want to celebrate in style! We will be here from 7-10p!
